Builders at Heart,
Lean in Practice
A lean product consultancy for smart hardware teams building for active lifestyles
Build the Right Thing
We help you turn ideas into testable, user-centred prototypes — fast. Through lean, experiment-led thinking, we make sure your team builds what people actually need, not just what’s possible.
Design for the Real World
Building products that endure, delight, and solve genuine needs— where beauty meets purpose.

Scale with Confidence
We support you through manufacturing, supply chain decisions, and production readiness — using the same network and experience that brought Mosa to market.
Avoid expensive mistakes, and scale like a team that’s done it before.
We support ambitious teams of any size and at any stage on their journey from idea to production.
Built by the team behind Mosa, a social startup with an award-winning IoT product in micromobility, we understand first-hand just how challenging it is to bring hardware to life. From early sketches to global manufacturing, we’ve done it ourselves — and along the way, we’ve built a trusted network of designers, engineers, firmware developers, and suppliers.
We created Mosa Works to share that experience, keep our collaborators close, and help other teams avoid the costly pitfalls we’ve already overcome.
We’re firm believers in applying lean startup methodologies to hardware — and we want to bring that thinking to more projects in active travel and active lifestyles, helping teams build lean hardware for a smarter, healthier future.
The Team
Together, they created Mosa Works to share what they’ve learned and to continue collaborating with exceptional teams, from early-stage startups to established companies, who are building impactful hardware products.

Simon Laumet
CPO
Simon, Mosa’s Chief Product Officer, leads product design from London. An experienced industrial designer, he guided Mosa’s IoT dock from initial concept to a production-ready design—working directly with Giant, one of the world’s top bicycle manufacturers.

Josh Liu
CEO
Josh formerly worked at Foxconn, the world’s largest electronics manufacturer, where he helped IoT startups apply lean startup principles to hardware at scale. He brings deep operational expertise and a wide network of suppliers, engineers, and manufacturing partners across East Asia.

Paul Egan
CMO
Paul is a two-time founder with successful exits, and experienced agency consultant. He has worked with both startups and corporates to validate products, run rapid go-to-market experiments, and scale purpose-led brands. Paul brings a strategic lens that helps teams build what people really need
